When our crew pulled up to this Bixby job site, we were eager to take the owners' custom plans and turn them into a rock-solid reality. We framed up the heavy-gauge steel shell to bring their layout to life, finishing the exterior with crisp white metal siding, sharp dark trim, a heavy-duty metal roof, and a deep porch anchored by rugged cedar posts.
Inside, the clear-span framing created soaring ceilings and wide-open living areas flooded with natural light. From precision slab work to weather-tight sealing and top-tier insulation, our TrueBuilt team delivered the exact durability, tight craftsmanship, and structural strength needed to stand up to Green Country weather for decades.es.
Custom Barndominium Build | Bixby, OK
For this Durant build, the owners brought us a set of plans focused on heavy-duty utility and open-country living. Our TrueBuilt crew handled the total structural buildout from the ground up—setting a reinforced slab, erecting a rigid steel frame, and wrapping the structure in high-rib metal panels engineered to take a beating from southern Oklahoma weather.
The layout seamlessly balances a wide-open workshop area with a spacious residential footprint under a single continuous metal roofline. By using clear-span steel construction, we eliminated load-bearing interior walls, giving the client maximum interior square footage, vaulted ceilings, and a rock-solid shell backed by top-tier spray foam insulation for year-round efficiency.
